Artists often want to achieve the effect of old photos or movies, I mean a retro style. In these kind of projects it’s difficult to capture the realism using just the basic tools build into our software. For instance,  PS’s noise filter which is predictably and evenly distributed. That’s why Arkadzi Ulitski has prepared a free pack of 10 film grain textures. They were created by using a Lomography camera on a 35mm film and then digitized. These textures not only contain unique noise but also many colourful abstract spots and grunge elements like ragged borders. All images were prepared in 2000×1340 px resolution.
